Livestock Rules

  1. All 4-H/FFA Livestock will be charged a $5.00 Entry Fee.

  2. All 4-H/FFA Livestock should be on the fairgrounds by 11:00 a.m. on Sunday before the fair. The 4-H/FFA Weigh-In will begin directly following the exhibitor meeting at 11:00 a.m. It will start with Steer Weigh-In, immediately followed by Lamb/Goat Weigh-In, immediately followed by Hog Weigh-In. All exhibits will be judged only in the division in which they are entered.

  3. Youth exhibitors as defined by 4-H/FFA guidance.

  4. No “For Sale” tags will be allowed on exhibits.

  5. All exhibits must be the property of the individual exhibiting them, or the property of his immediate family.

  6. Only Page County residents are eligible to enter.

  7. The Fair Management will provide security for exhibits from Fair Sunday, 8 p.m. until noon on Monday, after Fair closing.

  8. No pets allowed on grounds during Fair week, except service animals.

  9. Photos posted to social media can be utilized for advertisement.

  10. Exhibitors of Livestock must maintain proper care for their project. Also, keep their stalls and pens in a clean condition, and put manure outside the barn. All cattle must be tied. (a) Final Barn Clean-Up will begin at 9:00 a.m. Sunday following the fair. All exhibitors need to be present to remove bedding, decorations and 4-H/FFA animals that did not go through the sale. No animals will leave the grounds until Sunday morning, including animals that have been sold through the 4-H/FFA Livestock Sale. Sale animals will be removed by Gochenour’s Trucking.

  11. The Fair Association will not be responsible for loss or damage of exhibits.

  12. In case receipts are not sufficient to pay premiums advertised, the management reserves the right to reduce the premiums.

  13. Premium checks must be picked up at the Fair Office; checks issued for this year’s Fair will be VOID 60 days after Fair ends on Saturday night. No Exceptions!

  14. There must be competition in each class to receive 1st place prize money in all Departments.
